Name: Nuevo Mercurio
Location: Zacatecas
Mexico
Type: Olivine Bronzite Chondrite, H-5
Perfect complete black stones fell on December 15, 1978 in a typical
shower fall of many small stones. It was preceded by a bright fireball
which was observed traveling over north central Mexico. The fireball
exploded, raining down hundreds of small stony meteorites.
Name cannot be found in the Meteoritical Society Bulletin database.
